We Have Always Lived in the Castle is a gorgeous read. I loved it. It was dark, lovely, strange, and affecting. I was very entertained by the quirkiness of the characters; the dialogue especially between Mary Katherine and Constance was top-notch. I loved this book. I loved that it surprised me and that it kept me interested. I love how it was able to make me smile, yet move me.
Unfortunately, it took me two weeks to get around to writing this review, and I'm not sure I can say much more. This is one book I'd be happy to read again, and as some may know of me, this is a huge endorsement. Any book I want to read a second time is one I would recommend.
